So, while everyone is trying to find the hottest girl to take to prom, I'm here trying to figure out how to have the hottest car to take to prom. While everyone borrows their neighbours ****ty rag-top or Miata I want something that says "hey I'm a tuner!" (Or atleast I have friends who are) but the struggle of me trying to rent a GTR are that I'm not 25, and their insurance wouldn't touch me. At the time of prom I would have my G (I have had my g2 for quite some time and am eligible to go for the test but between work and school I haven't found the time). So what I'm looking for is someone Who appreciates tuners, who's generous and has a tuner you would rent out (no preference just something out of the ordinary street cars, nor a show a shine champion or some 7 second race car; just a cool wicked tuner). Here where you would say "HELL NO YOU STUPID KID" but! I'm an 18 year old who has a job that's better then most my age (electronic sales), so that rules out the fact I'm just a bum, im not looking for a free handout for a day or so, you will be compensated (can be disused privately), I'm also willing to meet will in advance so you we can get to know each other. I don't just drive my dads cross over but I own my own motorcycle (not funded via mommy and daddy but through said job) so I can relate to how you could feel and that I respect the respect you have for your vehicle. If you think you'd like to make my prom amazing feel free to reply and we can go from there.

LOL, take a Limo. No one cares what car you pull up in...

 

Just take a limo, I went to my prom with my 350-400hp 1g Eclipse GSX at the time and all I did was get pulled over doing a 100+mph (was young, dumb and running late). Limo, you don't drive and you roll up in style. Have fun, but just be aware people with nice "tuner" cars are not going to just hand over some keys for a days for a couple hundred dollars unless they knew for sure you would be willing to take care of all things on vehicle if anything were to go wrong...can you imagine if the engine blew while you were coasting down the freeway not racing??? It would be a he said she said argument at that point and that person will then put the blame on you and would expect you to pay for the repairs which will go into the thousands...good luck to you but I don't believe you thought this all the way through.

1. it's prom, that's the last event i would loan my car out for. hormone infused teenager driving with a girl in a tight dress? yea, that'll end well

I think this is a great opportunity, if it was me, I'd go pick him up in the Evo, park around the corner from his school, let him drive it up to his school and show off to all the chicks....then he can park it in the car park, you then pick it up and off you go.....mmmm that'll be 200 bucks thanks

 

Nobody will care about an evo, the LIMO will get more of a wow factor.

Rule #1 Guys love evos more than females, so unless you are gay the evo is the wrong choice. Nothing against being gay.

Everyone is saying limo...but I say get a group of friends together and pitch in for a party bus (make sure it has a stripper pole). If you want to get noticed, that for damn sure will do the job and you won't have to drive!

 

Apart from the fact that this will not happen as I have no idea who would in their right mind hand you keys to their evo(we evo guys treat our cars like princesses) unless they are REALLY begging for cash...but....girls don't give a damn about these cars, your gonna have a cockfest surrounding you, if that's what your into....second, won't it look lame to show up in one and have to admit it's borrowed?

 

On my prom, me and my gf at the time got driven in a 1963 Bentley S2. Prom wise, way cooler than a Evo. just saying.

 

avoid the risk of incurring huge amounts of debt at 18yrs....should something go wrong - even if not your fault, with the evo...

concentrate on having a last hurrah with friends ....
