I have an evo 8 with the crash beam and an evo 9 front bumper. It fits without any issues. I ran without it for a while and the bumper looked fine. I ended up putting it back on when I restored my headlights since I removed the front bumper. I have an ETS 3.5" intercooler and there's still a little room left. It may require some wiggling of the front bumper to get it perfect.

After reviewing the threads on the MRL website this appears correct. My mind has been changed on the crash beam. If my front tow hook wasnt welded to it I would remove it
