Feeler what is my 2003 worth??

I am thinking about selling my 2003 Apex Silver with 65,000 stock miles.

What do you think would be a fair price. Trying to determine if I should just trade it in to the dealer or if its worth the hassle to sell privately. It feels like Blue Book might be understated considering my car is essentially never modified, original owner, low mileage, no accidents.

I ask because I sold my S2000 for nearly 4k over excellent blue book and I want to try to gauge the real market price for my evo.

Thanks for looking

John

The mileage is pretty desirable, so if the exterior is in awesome shape without the rock chips and dings, I dont see why you wouldnt list it at 18.5 and let someone talk you down a little. There are plenty of people looking for well kept evo's that are willing to pay for well kept car.

Ive had people offer me 17k for my 119k modded 8, so its just what someones wanting to pay at that given time. I'm probably stupid for keeping my car with those kinds of offers, but I enjoy my car.

isnt it the same all around the world, if you sell it privately you will get more for it then trading it in to a dealer? plus for cash you will aways stand a good chance of beating down the dealer for your next car?

Yeah that is what I'm thinking. Feels like a sin to trade-in such a clean car to the stealership.

You will always get ripped off trading it in.

Agreed! Let a real enthusiast take it off your hands.

I am sure you could probably get 17k for it. Really depends on where you are selling it though

original owner, 65k miles, never modified, if it's as clean as it sounds, I'd start at 20K, these things are only getting harder to find and in this type of condition even slimmer chances
