Question Stalling out problem, and tachometer not working....

Hey everyone! I need a bit of help. My Evo 6 has been having a few problems recently... Well to start off, one day I decided to accelerate the car under full boost (merging onto a busy highway), but suddenly my car would hesitate quite a lot under full boost. I didn't think to much of it at the time and drove it normally back home. But then I noticed that the Check Engine Light was on, it still drove normally for a while until I drove it up a hill and the the engine had died.... I tried starting it back up and it would start up for a second and die each time, so I waited for 10 minutes and was able to start it back up, enough for it to make it back home. The next day it started up fine with no CEL on and drove it to the shops, it drove there fine, but when it was time to go home I drove it for a minute and the engine suddenly dies and the same problem happens again... To try fixing the problem, I have since added new spark plugs, and have also gotten a new OEM Coil Pack. I thought it would fix the problem, but it still persists.... To add to the problem, my Tachometer has decided to stop working out of the blue as well (not too sure if it is related to the problem) I am not really sure what the problem is, so any help would be great! Thanks
