okok...here are the info for the EVO...there will be 1500 made!!!! on the realz...mitsu last yr overproduced the evo because of the movie hype 2F2F.... 2 evo's per dealership....out of the the 1500 evos only 300 RS will be available RS's will most likely be special order for the customers.

specs.... same power on all evos

regular evos = 2 packages
1. standard evo, no sunroof, cf spoiler standard!!!! no more small wings.

2. sun and sound package = you get sunroof, leather recaro seats, and a subwoofer (sames as the ralliart)

RS Model:
Yes it comes with AC...but i believe there is no radio and no spoiler...i left the sheets at werk.

I will have more info tomorrow. i have 2 mitsu corp. reps visiting the dealership tomorrow...and i have a meeting with them since i am a retention manager.

 

another thing...prices on vechiles are not released until the are here in america...do not know the exact dates when dey will be coming in

Okay, let us know when the numbers are solid then. If so, then all the magazines have been wrong so far, as they've been quoting 500-600 RS units.

If there are really only 1500 Evo's, then I doubt we will see any decrease in cost on the '03's. Nice! Makes our cars more rare.

I'm i right in saying that the RS is lighter and there for a bit faster. 0-60 in under 5sec.?? I don't think it has any trunk carpet, that's all i can think of right now .
Any comments welcome.

 

Find out if got rid of the open front diff on all evos and the possibility of having acd on the next evo.

A couple days ago I was told that 1600 evos will be coming here for 2004. Do not know how many RS models.
It is not true that there is only 2 per dealer.
My dealer ordered 4.
Also I think that blue by u becomes pacific blue (lighter they say).
I think by now we all know about the changes for 04 (not much).
Question is what will 05 bring.
That should be August/September as I was told a couple of months ago.
Finally Mitsu is catching up with model year production.
Even though I think 03 is the best car for the money, 05 is the year where we will see some major changes.
I hope some of them will be the same as on my wish list.

 

05....they may not even bring in the evo....the eclipse awd is comin back!

 

i for one hope they discontinue the evo. makes our cars more special.. we all saw what happened with the mkiv supras..
