Just curious as to if any of you guys that keep a firearm in your Evo, if and where you have mounted a holster, instead of stuffing it under the seat (which is impossible to get to ) or tossing it in the glove box.

I use one of those cheap nylon holsters with the extra mag pouch and stick it in the door.

to answer the mans question... depending what you carry, a cheap itwb holster fits very nicely and accessibly in the driver door compartment. I carry an XD-S .45 and it fits almost perfect towards the front of the compartment. Hope this helps..

he has a point, i generally only do this when im traveling (I travel alot) or on long drives. so most of the time i just carry concealed in a galco ITW holster and seems to be very comfortable while sitting in our car's Recaro's lol

My pistol is always on me. Never know when you'll need it, and its always the most accessible when its on your person. If I'm on a long road trip or something, my compact stays on me in states where I have a CCW (NV, UT, AZ), and I put my full size in the door. Unfortunately, in Cali, everything has to get locked up, ammo separate from the guns.

I know, it sucks, I have the ability to protect myself in a life threatening situation. The responsibility weighs heavily on me. But, in the end, I'll be giving a report to responding officers, and none of my internal organs will be getting weighed by the coroner...
