2005 Evo breaking up in boost

Recently purchased a 2005 Evo. I took it on a long trips~ 3000 miles.a check engine light cam on and I pulled the code. Cylinder 1 misfire . I replaced the plugs and ended up changing both coil packs . The car goes into boost just fine in first gear but breaks up in all other gears. Breaks up when I break boost too. I had a vacuum leak from the evap emission purge solenoid but it's fixed now. I'm stumped and need help

Thanks in advance.
Car has 89k on it
Has intake, clutch, exhaust, MBC, evo BOV

1st thing check the Intercooler pipes the all the vacuum pipes check the pipe from your MAF to your turbo.

Also check that the actuator is opening as it should.

The car is with my family in Michigan and im stationed in Delaware.(usaf) I took a flight back to de cause I didn't want to drive it. I got to wait on my dad to get free time. I didn't gap the Iridium plugs when I got them so im sure they need to be re gapped. will update everyone this weekend, thanks for your help so far.

Can you try a tighter gap like .20 or a different spark plug? Looks like you are using iridium plugs, would you consider a copper plug. It shouldn't be expensive so worth a try.

Copper plugs didn't work either did more research and trouble shooting and it ended up being the spark plug wires!
