Pump Gas setup

So I am looking for opinions on the best setup for making power DD pump gas setup, read plenty of threads, looking for personal opinions on what setup to do. E85 isn't convenient for me at my location. What do you think is the best bang for the buck?

My goal is a stable 500 hp, I was thinking along the lines of GSC S2's, 1120 cc injectors, walboro 255, and 35r turbo kit. was kinda curious other peoples thoughts at arriving at a similar goal. right now i have a turbo back, boost controller, LICP, ETS front mount, ETS intake, and stage 2 clutch.

Are you planning on doing one upgrade at a time or dumping 8k + at once? 35r to some people is a laggy turbo for the street on a stock 2.0 Full boost at about 5k rpms. A lot of people I have talked to said the red has been there favorite street turbo but you won't make 500 on pump. I say if you want to go 35r do the hta3582r in twin scroll for 500 whp. I have similar mods to you right now and just plan on maxing out the 9 turbo before I decide on what upgrade I want. You can get 400 whp out of the 9 and then when u upgrade turbo you will get the most out of the upgrade.

Looking for reliable power because its my DD right now, so the FP red might be the better option. I am going to do the cams, fuel pump and injectors first, then make a decision on where to go from there. I just don't know if I want to stay on a stock frame turbo or go with a kit

Stay stock. Moving to a larger turbo is going to shift your powerband to the right. For a DD that will only lower the cars fun factor.

Hopefully buying another car soon, so the evo is no longer going to be a DD. FP Red is sounding like the best bet either way though

FP Red probably won't get you to 500 on pump. Once you get a new DD, just take your evo to English Racing, tell them your goals, and let them work their magic.

Lol they are really close to me, I have talked to them in length about it. I always just like getting multiple opinions on a subject though

no real reason to get a 2nd opinion if you're talking to ER.

However, like said, the 35r will be laggy. The red will make full boost around 4k, and make around 425whp on 91 octane pump gas. You could always go with a meth injection kit since e85 isn't available to you..

Well E85 isn't impossible to get here, there is only two stations within like 60 miles, its just inconvenient. So maybe I should wait and switch E85 when a DD comes along for me lol

CBRD is soon to announce some new turbos for 2015. I bet they will be offering something in the 500hp range. Given the pics on their facebook, they look to be utilizing BW EFR components. Might be worth considering.

English is going to be offering a true flex fuel system soon so you can make over 500 on the red with e85.
