damn those old people driving around on public roads and meesing up a good street race

"if you street race on a public road, you can only blame yourself for being a fool" - my best friend after he crashed his m5 street racing and breaking his leg and half of his body.

Glad to hear you are okay, but it sounds like your brother was driving like a jerk. Street racing and passing a group of five cars at a time. You guys are lucky the only damage was to your car, you could have killed an innocent person who's only mistake was being on the same road as you. Please learn from this and take it to the track.

Actually my brother wasnt even there, just took the pics. And it didnt even happen because of the racing, i was down to prob about 75 or so, and was in the process of passing a group in the slow lane, not flying at all, 10 MPH above the speed limit. The guy just literally pulled from that group into the left lane with no blinker and all of a sudden. Trust me, I have witnesses on the Police report. So those innocent people were lucky i controlled my car to the median instead of into them in the right lane or it would have been that 70 yr old who didnt look or use signals, that cost them there life.

don't get me wrong, i am very happy that you are ok and that you weren't hurt. however, why did you feel the need to talk about the fact that you were racing that rsx?

The old folks, SOME women drivers and some new drivers are the kinds of people we should always think are driving the cars ahead of us.. its the only way to prepare for the worst... dont worry, just clock it down to experience.. and any accident you can walk away from is a good thing.. it'll just life telling you nothing is impossible and no one is too good... so learn... besides, look on the bright side.. you have an excuse to change an new IC

he was racing the RSX on an open stretch, then slowed when they came upon traffic blonde.....has nothing to do with anything.....accident woudl have happened if he was just ripping down the left lane by himself wich all evo owners do anyhow, or i hope so at least....i ushually hit 75 or so not even trynig to go fast let alone if i tap the throttle a little im at 90 in a second, anyway, moron pulled in the left lane and screwed him, much like happens to everyone....my turbo lude got deystroyed when a bus driver hit me at a stop light doing 40 mph spent a night in the hospital and 22,000 in damages....oh well....wish only evo owners were allowed on the streets.....

Taking Jay and Kevin at their word, what happened to him could have happened to anyone.

No need to start flame wars, mr. moderator

Jay: glad you're alright.

see, this is the difference between you an me. i hope that not all EVO owners are "ripping down the left lane" because it is a PUBLIC road and you can never know what will happen next. also, the fact that he was racing the RSX on the open stretch has nothing to do with this. he was racing on a public road. all i am saying is that accidents will happen and there is nothing we can do about it. there is no need to add stupidity to the equation and increase the odds by street racing.

again, your life than do what you want. however, i refuse to feel bad for any one who street races. i have been through this too many times...

I hate that ****, you go to pass and they wait till the last possible second to pull out and pass too and the ****ty part is if you didn't make the pass they wouldn't have either. People are stupid lemmings sometimes and can't make their own moves
