Evo specialist in Michigan
I have been in search of Evo specialists in Michigan for a bit now and have no chance of finding one. If anyone is, I would like to know so I can visit the shop or so to get some work done or have questions andwered. Thanks.

Depending on where you are there is Speed Industries, I wouldn't suggest going there being they are mainly a Subaru house now, Force Engineering which is a great place ( my motor is there now) Whalen speed and R&D is another good shop. That unfortunately is about it that I can think of off the top of my head that just specializes in evo stuff.

My trans is making some weird noise on cold or chilly start ups and on the highway around 70-80 it'll make some sort of type of noise as something is rubbing against something. But if tre is in kzoo I'll contact the and see what's up. Thanks for the info.

Definitely contact TRE, but also if you want to look into the issue before you head out to KZOO, join Michigan Evo Owners on FB. Make a post about your issue and you might get some help. John Whalen is very knowledgeable and does great work as stated above, John Hischak is in Auburn Hills and while he doesn't have a shop, he has worked one Evo's and DSM's for many years. Some other guys such as Micheal Edwin (Metro Detroit area) and Joe Martin (Lansing area) have a lot of experience and knowledge as well.
Basically if you are not already a part of the Michigan Evo Owners group on Facebook, I suggest joining and posting in there.
