What to do???

So I have been battling a SES P0106. I came to the conclusion that my MAP sensor is bad. My first question is if my MAP is bad will I still be able to drive the car with no issues? Or will it stall or almost stall at times? My second question is if I do replace my sensor should I replace it with an OEM or aftermarket one? Car is a DD and nothing else. Mild mods include, TBE, UICP, LICP, Intake, Injectors, Fuel Pump, and O2 housing.

Is it still stock 1Bar MAP sensor? The USDM MAP sensor doesn't do much for other than the EGR control.
Why are you asking about drivability when it's YOUR car?
Who tuned it last?
What is the car doing now?

check the connection. check the voltage. buy a can of map sensor cleaner (follow directions on the can).
had this problem with my fathers mercedes. mercedes quoted him a price of 1200.00 or something. we tried cleaning it first and the code hasn't come back since. almost 3 years ago. I think he was over filling with oil and oil got passed the PCV and caked up the intercooler pipe enough to throw a code.

It is still a stock 1 Bar MAP sensor. Car is not tuned as of right not. I took everything off recently except Intake and ICP. Car as of right now drives fine but almost stalls coming to a stop or when i take the car out of gear after anything over 2500 RPMs.

Then I suggest you make sure there is no boost leak and then contact a good tuner. if you changed your fuel pump and injectors then that is a must.
