Is it me or does anyone else not like that picture on autoweek? I noticed the tail lights were coverd, is anything else on the car covered, to make it look different?

All i can say is this picture is sexy, even if it is a drawing

and that white Mine's was beautiful, this new picture looks like a cross between an Accord, Impala and the new Altima.

Wiat a sec., you would think teh EVO VIII for America has to have some sweet body kit and design, but where is the standard EVO wing, are they ripping Americans off again!!!!

Most of the Evo's have only had slight cosmetic changes over the years....and just have advanced slighty.

The only year that a BIG change was made was between the 6/6.5 to the 7....

probably didn't have the wing on the test car so as not to attract any extra attention. They are just doing hot-weather testing which doesn't need the wing.

Now if they had spy photos of the car at the Nurburgring track then you would expect the wing to be there for performance testing.

All WRC class cars are cheater's cars. The old group-A cars where the ones based on real production cars like you are saying. The old EVO's were always the production car for Mitsu's group-A rally car. When Mitsu switched to WRC class that is when they came out with the EVO 7, which is not based on the WRC car (because of the rules chang from group-A to WRC). The same is true with all the other WRC class cars (they are not built off of production cars).

What on God's Green Earth is a CHEATERS car?!?!?! Just because it has forced induction and TECHNOLOGY.....

There is no such thing as CHEATING in racing unless you break rules, or if it's a street race, you come clean with the mods you have prior to the race.

ps ... I've been passwordless for a while, got it back recently, I have some updates
