So just got done with my gsc cam install. Now the car is running real lean at idle 17-18. Car starts fine when cold, takes revving of the motor to keep it idling when warm.

My main questions is about the crankshaft and if it was advanced one tooth too far. Do you think it would cause the issues mentioned above? Or can anyone tell me what issues would arrise if cams were dead on tdc, but the crankshaft was advanced one tooth too far.

 

All i can say is; tear it down and check all your timing marks again. better to double and triple check it.
