Putting together my list of parts on rock auto to do my 120k service. First time doing one on the evo and just wondering if there is anything i may have forgotten or might be recommended? no leaks of any kind that I have noticed from the car.

or maybe i have some things that are not necessary.

accessory belt
balance shaft belt
balance shaft pulley/tensioner
Timing belt
timing belt tensioner
timing belt idler pulley
balance shaft belt tensioner
Water pump

Also doing and oil change,T case fluid, tranny fluid, rear diff fluid, coolant etc

I did hoses, plugs and wires also. I bought o2 sensors, but didn't put them on yet. the thermostat I got from rock auto was a lancer one, so it didn't fit. I also did the serp belt tensioners and pulleys. your list is pretty good though. definitely a solid weekend worth of work. good luck!

is the thermostat needed at a certain mileage or just when it gets stuck open?

I would consider doing the cam, crank, and oil pump seals. I understand you said there weren't any leaks but its preventive maintenance and you already have just about everything off.
