Thankfully no, my insurance will cover it. Just hoping it won't jack up my rates when it renews because they deem it an accident. Even though it's not my fault and out of my ability to control.

 

this thread made me get a dash cam finally. lol. this happened to my lightning parked far away from other cars. not as bad, but noticeable. thankfully I was able to buff most of it out, and popped back in my bumper cover. still missing some paint though. good luck!

 

Damn, sorry this happened man. Keep goin to that store (not in the Evo) and you might be able to find the truck if its a local.

 

That friggin sucks. My wife's Forester got hit and the local PD was less then helpful.

 

So sorry to hear this. That level of irresponsibility is just appalling. Hopefully the repair process will be painless without and insurance issues. I'm sure Karma will come for the truck driver.
