2006 MR SE BBS

If you were selling these what would you ask for them?

2006 MR SE BBS just freshly repowdercoated, I has asked for the original diamond black and they messed up getting it right 3 times so I said F it since they look nice in this color and took them home.

Black wheels are still very popular. Should be able to get a decent amount. If no curbing on the lips, I'd say $600?

If they were unaltered SE BBS they would be worth a decent amount around $800-1000. Since they are powdered they are $600-850. Shipped.

They aren't exactly black, the pics are from the shop when they were done being powder coated. It was supposed to be diamond black but there are more like a gunmetal and they look great.

They are the most mint condition, mint condition can be, no flaws at all. $600 is a bit low IMO.

After 3 times of trying to get them to do them the right color I just don't have the patience to go back and have them fix them again and for $600 I would rather take them and hang them on my wall for decoration then to sell them for that cheap when they are in absolutely perfect condition.

They don't sell for very high as it is. Most people prefer OEM to painted/powder coated, be it because of color or because they aren't interested in paying extra to powder coat stock wheels.
I'd suggest keeping them to get the color you want. You most likely won't make back the money you will have spent by the time all is said and done.
I can get 17x9.5 RPF1s for $960 shipped. It wouldn't make much sense for me to pay so much for stock wheels.
Just my opinion, of course. Now, if you find someone that really wants OEM wheels, then they are worth what they will pay.

Unfair to compare a steal to regular prices. That's Evo VIII pricing. You were very lucky.

I sold mine for 650 a while ago but they weren't PC.

I told the buyer I was thinking of PC them but he said that PC forged wheels even once was quite bad for the integrity of the wheel (metalurgy).

SE wheels don't mean jack crap unless they're factory finished. The thing that makes the SE wheels special is the finish on them

I'd say you'll be lucky to get $800 for these since they're "new", but I would expect closer to $600-$700

Bought a set of mr se bbs with new rt615_255 when they just came out for $900. I suggest just keep them since you obviously would not be happy with current 9 y/o wheel prices. G/L

keep them. it's a good centerpiece in a livingroom (just buy the glass and make the wheels as the legs for a coffee table) :P

I don't like PC'd forged wheels either, but damn they look good. I bet they are killer on bright/yellow car!

Not a bad idea, actually.
