I get 400km's out of a tank, EASILY. Regularly get 450ish, give or take, and thats with plenty of hard driving and pulls sprinkled here & there. If I drove like a granny 24/7 then I reckon 500+ isnt out of the question.

Then again all my other evo friends only get 300-350ish k's out of a tank, and they're very much granny drivers compared to me.. so maybe im just lucky.

On e85 I get about 160miles to 13-13.5 gallons. On pump gas, about 200-220 to the same amount. I'm glad I don't daily my evo anymore...lol

I haven't done a long freeway cruise with the new setup. When it was just cams and stock turbo, it would do about 14mpg cruising at 80.

I'm going to LA for MOD this weekend, gonna do it on E85 and see how the 4.11 final drive and red do. Hopefully it improves with lower cruising rpm and the red not being spooled and ready to go like the stock turbo was at 80 lol.

should help. i know with my MAP 2.5 i was in 1-3psi any time there was a grade in the road. larger turbo and gearing should be nice for you.
i think i average 21-23mpg on the fwy. maybe it's not so bad LOL. 14mpg. ouch.

Alright, MAF is reasonably dirty and it's off an Evo7 (judging by I'm guessing a wrecker writing evo 7 on it)

Would this cause an issue?

if the 5 and 7 require different voltage readings from the MAF, then yes. you will need to cross reference part numbers to see if they are the same.

I'm guessing the computer has been over compensating for something due to it being dirty as now it wouldn't idle very well. Resetting ecu and will report back.

Ill cross check the part numbers and see if there's a difference. It has evo 7 written in marker pen but evo 5 scratched into with a knife or something under it.

And her she is looking all gorgeous and ****.

I'm getting that sort of mileage on 95 octane normal gasoline so something's up with mine.

^Hmm, I'd replace that front O2 sensor and check for boost leaks while you're at it.

The best I have achieved so far on e85 was 197.8 miles, before the light came on lol. Normal cruising on the fwy with the occasional, ....who am I kidding, frequent pull to pass. Then again I didn't buy it for mpg.

I keep a 5 gal. jug in the car just in case.

Will do O2 sensor next if this doesn't help.

I also I didnt buy this to drive slow so fuel economy is going to be **** but I noticed that crap driving sensibly to and from work the past week. If I was foot flat for those km's I wouldn't be complaining.

Car definitely drives alot smoother now. Sometimes would have a little stumble when taking off in first gear but that's gone. Only heard one pop all day too so major improvement there. I have also noticed I can now cruise along in 5th gear at 50-60kmh where as before I was always chopping between 3rd and 4th as in 4th if I went below 50kmph I would have to shift down to 3rd.

Overall major win. expect fuel milage to be alot better and only cost $12 for a can of MAF cleaning.
