Wow, can you say pointless thread. I am glad this guy bought a Subie. Let him post useless threads on NASIOC from now on.... I also love how people judge a car by how clean the engine bay is. Used car sales people must love this guy.

Seems kinda shady as a used car salesmen trying to get 11k out of a "running" evo when you find metal in the drain pan.. Not surprised.

I am glad you bought an extremely reliable Subaru. Enjoy your open deck flat 4, your severely unequal exhaust manifold, your glass center diff in your amazingly strong 5 speed, your oil pick up tube that is known to crack, great choice on buying a Subaru. If you do not spin your rod bearings you will probably have a piston ringland failure. Then after it is finally back on the road you will loose 2nd or 3rd gear, or shatter your center diff. Every Subaru is sold with a dog, that way you have a companion to walk home with you after it breaks down. Again, great choice and you clearly did your homework on how reliable a Subaru is.

Well since you want to turn this into a dick swinging contest Ill take the bait. I own an Evo 9 with about $35-40k into it. I bought it in 2008 for $32k. So does that mean my one car is almost double the money put into it, including purchase price, as all four of yours? I think it does...
