Difference is I paid cash money not payments. ..an I agree with him on the wrx ..I've had 3 this being my 4th....an the evolution8 is a better car that's why I'm keeping both. ....an the evolution8 only needed balance shaft bearings. .....so I put in the delete kits....

Well after that comment I am done. If you think I spent $40k on a balance shaft delete I can not argue with you. The only time my Evo was at a dealer was when it was being sold. Believe it or not, most people work on their own cars. And 4 cars valued at $40k is only $10k per car. I would hope you would not have to finance a $10k car....

So you own a used car lot and you are still this terrible with estimating the value of these cars? The Evo on a good day would get you $15k. The WRX on a good day would get you $13k. Thats $28k buddy, no where near $40k. If you are going to call someone stupid you better get your facts straight. Bragging about owning a WRX, Cobalt SS, and a 9 year old G35 sedan is like bragging about your wife cheating on you.... No one is jealous buddy. My regret is trying to argue with stupid, it was a losing battle from the beginning. With that I bid you farewell, enjoy all your amazing cars.

lol. I have been reading this thread since the beginning, and it gets funnier, ( and worse), with every post. to the OP, this is a great research forum, and don't let some discouraging remarks take away from the vast amount of information on this site. however, please don't be a douche. if you do keep your evo, good luck with the repairs, and enjoy your car. it is one of the greatest ever made.

Quote: I am glad you bought an extremely reliable Subaru. Enjoy your open deck flat 4, your severely unequal exhaust manifold, your glass center diff in your amazingly strong 5 speed, your oil pick up tube that is known to crack, great choice on buying a Subaru. If you do not spin your rod bearings you will probably have a piston ringland failure. Then after it is finally back on the road you will loose 2nd or 3rd gear, or shatter your center diff. Every Subaru is sold with a dog, that way you have a companion to walk home with you after it breaks down. Again, great choice and you clearly did your homework on how reliable a Subaru is.
I heard the 2016 Evo has 0 mechanical issues.

Makes me miss being a dealer, I did pretty well when DSM's were actually worth something and running through weekly.

geez... this thread is still going? I'd rather watch the news about the shooting here in Lafayette, La than feed this troll...
