Evo 9 Front Lip Brackets

Just had my front lip ripped clean off. The bumper is fine. The brackets that hold the front lip to the bumper are damaged. I have looked everywhere for these brackets. Checked OEM Mitsu sites and called the dealer with no luck. Has anyone dealt with this before? Can you get these brackets separate or do they only come with the bumper cover?

The brackets are part of the lip, not the bumper. You can try glueing them back on if you have all or most of them.

When you order an oem lip it does not come with brackets.

Look at STMs website. They have a huge selection of OEM stuff. That would be the first place I would look for them.

When I took off my oem SE lip, the "brackets" I believe you're speaking of were just part of the lip (until I broke them off). The gray parts that are left in your bumper are those brackets, which each have a screw in them from inside the bumper. If they're not part of the lip and not part of the bumper, how do they go on? You're supposed to glue them on yourself if you get new ones?

I see what you mean. The dealer said that the lip came with no hardware but perhaps the brackets are just built into the lip.

OEM SE lip just arrived and it does NOT come with the brackets or any hardware.

The lip doesn't include the hardware needed to attach it to an underpanel. The lip will attach to the bumper just fine. if it doesn't, you either ordered the wrong lip or didn't get an OE one

Hardware is not included

your new oem lip should have the mounting tabs on them like the picture below.

just unscrew the old broken tabs off your bumper and fit the new lip to it. reuse the screws on the new mounting tabs and you should be set.
