My first evo I bought was an 2006 MR GG. With ams bolts on and base tune w/ rpf1s at 107,000. I paid 18500 which I thought was a reasonable price. The 100k+ cars normally don't go over 20k IMP. This was in chicago suburbs

I would do this. Ohlins should net you around 1500-2k still and the JDM rear around 700 or so and then replace with stock parts


I personally would not pay over 15k for an evo that's over 100k even if its clean as in those 100k, the car's probably been used fairly well and as we all know, evo's break all the time even if we're careful with them.


I've been watching the market for the past few months and have seen it go up and down and right now, it's definitely down and will probably continue to go down as fall/winter is coming. If you're not looking to part then I would take the highest offer and call it a day.
