The RS has zero creature comforts (AC, stereo, power windows etc.) It comes with 15 inch steelies, mechanical differentials, no Brembos, no Recarcos...catch my drift? The thing is STRIPPED. It's supposed to be ready to be converted into a racer. Unless you wanna spend a bunch o' money re-equipping the machine, best bet is the GSR or (what I'd get) an RS-II.

They're close but not quite. I'm having a hard time finding the various threads that already covered this since I can't single out the term "trim" and "RS" or combinations since "RS" is to small for the forum's search engine.

well, as pjal84 said, the Evolution RS is basically the lowest version of the Lancer you can get. if I was gonna convert the car into a full blown racer, i'd get it...but since i would wanna get the EVO to drive around daily (and impress the ladies ) the GSR is the way to go for me.
