kiggly hla?

well I recently installed a kiggly hla and noticed there's not a lot of oil pressure in the head...opened fill cap and barely anything spit out...reved it a little and it did... that's to be expected since it regulates oil pressure to 15 psi...now I noticed that the valvetrain noise seems to have got louder...idk if it's in my head or if it is...supposedly it helps quiet down the valvetrain and lifter tick...my question is, would installing this create any possibility to harm your engine? I did it to preserve it and make it last as long as possible...

It shouldn't harm the engine unless it was installed wrong, which is usually not the case because its not a hard install.
