OBD Code scanner which one to get?

Whose's got the scanner from an auto parts store? Which one did you get? There's a few of them with varying price range. Would one of these work for the Evo? Thanks

I ended up buying the Equus 3100. It's working great so far. Scan and erase codes without resetting the ECU.
