Will adding fuel additive throw Cel?
I was just wondering if adding fuel additive like Torco to my gas to increase the octane to roughly 96-97 octane will cause a cel? I'm getting a cell now that I'm using it. Haven't pull any codes so don't know if it's the cause or not. Thanks in advance.

the additive will not cause a cel unless the crap in that additive fouls the spark plugs and causes a misfire.
Remember, most fuel additives are junk.
Also, when they say "raises your octane by X points", keep in mind that 10 points make up 1 octane.

Secret Chimp, this Torco stuff is some good stuff. I can tell a big defference with it in my car. It's nothing like those you pick up at any local auto store. A 32oz can of this stuff is guarentee to raise a 10 gal tank of feul to 100+ octane. Mix half a can with a tank of 92 and you should be up into the 96 or higher octane. I'm still new to this stuff but it's some good sh*t. cheeper than mixing in a couple of 100 octanes.
