Getting shocked when getting out of the Recaro?
It has nothing to do with the seats in cars... Do you think that Bronco had special seats? It has to do with how tires are made now and the silica compounds not allowing energy to dissipate to the ground as a chassis builds up a charge moving through the air... But yah.. worry about your seats causing it...
hahah, welcome to the family ....same **** here TIRES? hmm i dont think so, I can just get in the car get out and same thing, I SIT in the car with leather seat get out. nothing, BTW i had different winter tires before..was same thing, now i got stokies same thing. I think its because of Shoes and clothes rubbing against the carpet AND SEAT, ok
let me ask you this, why do I GET electric shock SO BIG i cant feel my figer if i touch metal in Stores where they have carpets? like bestbuy.
hmm Tires...
I GOT SHOES MADE out of tires.

Haven't you heard about this? That is why you are not suppose to get back into your car while pumping gas. When you get in and out, you can create static charges and when you touch that metal close to the gas pump, you will create a spark and then boom!! If you do get in and out, make sure to touch some metal away from the gas pump to get the static charge out of you first. Many people only think this is a myth but I rather be safe than sorry.
Or you can use the window to close the door, since it won't conduct electricity. I don't mind the fingerprint b/c that shock kinda hurts
