Hi guys, so I'm currently an owner of a 2006 6MT G35 coupe. I've been deciding on what car to get next, and I narrowed my options down to a 2008-2010 Z06, or an evo IX/evo X. So now that I've came down to a conclusion, only both evos IX and X are still on the list. I'm leaning towards the IX since it's lighter and spare parts cost half the X's. But on the other hand, the X has better suspension and handles better, which is what I'm looking for. So my question is, what car will out handle the other for the same of money invested in it.

PS: I'M NOT A STANCE NOR A SHOW N SLOW GUY, I LIKE TO BEAT THE **** OUT OF MY CAR AND DRIVE IT HARD. Thanks for help guiiiiise.

EDIT: I think there might already be threads discussing CT9A vs. CZ4A, but the evo forums are a lot different than the nissan/infiniti ones. Too much sections and categorize to look into. Sorry if this question has been brought up multiple times already.

 

Well Evo 8/9 will be more raw driving machines, where your skill will play a much larger factor. The X is a more refined computer controlled tech monster. They are very different driving experiences and you should really test drive both before making a decision.

Outhandle how? Are you doing competitive motorsports?

You can make either one handle well with $, but the 8/9 is always going to be lighter.

 

I came from a g35 coupe 6mt too. Sold it for a Evo X..... a year later I sold it and got a 335, then I was going through evo withdrawals so I bought a IX. I prefer the Evo IX.... But I do miss the X and its more aggressive looks, fast key and rockford fosgate system.
