You would be amazed at the mickey mouse crap i have seen. You really really gotta do your homework on the shop you are choosing. Choosing the right body shop should involve just as much research as you would do for a shop thats going to mod and tune your car, maybe more. Your safety and the overall handling capabilities of the car are at stake and a few degrees can make the difference from having a car that drives straight or crooked down the road. Thats why i recommended a shop that works on high ends, like porsches, because those guys are almost expected to be tracking their cars and the owners are generally more passionate about their cars then your average corolla owner.

I've been watching this newish channel on youtube called "The Fabricator", right now he is doing a series on installing a tube chassis front end on a Nissan 240 SX that also had a front end collision. Its definitely not the most conventional thing to do, but it would be pretty unique and awsome. I would be considering doing this (not myself) if i was in OP's situation.

There is/ was a recall for EVO airbags. I don't know what year/ models etc.
