Did you follow the proper brake in procedure for the clutch?

Its prob adjustment issue. Dragging clutch will work fine for a bit but the improper adjustment will kill it over time

Break in is usually something like 500 miles of easy driving, it will depend on the mfg. Do verify that its properly adjusted though before digging any deeper.

Everytime you drive it with a slipping clutch you are now burning out the clutch plates, as said before get adjustment looked at, if it's adjusted correctly it needs to be pulled down and you may find the pressure plate broken but save the clutch plate unless you have burned it out already

Check adjustment, and drive the vehicle without going into power.
Does the clutch grab without hammering it?
What are the clutch plate material?

I have experienced a twin disk before slip like you stated and driven lightly for a few hundred miles and it was fine again after.

Your not really clear on if you installed this or if it was done by a shop. If you paid a shop to do this though then you should be calling/taking it back to them asap to get this checked up on.

driving around for 2 months with a badly adjusted clutch can do that, although you musta been smelling burnt clutch like crazy.

Clearly it is an adjustment problem....that's why it burnt out in 2 months. Sorry to hear man, get a rebuild kit and make sure its adjusted properly.
