Are Evo's more fun then motorbikes?
I've been on bikes before. They are hella fun. 0-60 in 3 seconds on a CBR and making a turn at 60 mph... nothing quite like it.
These bikes are faster than any Evo, 160 hp on a bike that weighs nothing? The weight to HP ratio on some of these bikes are flat out ridiculous.

I agree, it's a totally different experience between the two, so it really depends on what type of person you are. I just feel more comfortable behind the wheel of the Evo, I'm too paranoid when I ride on the street.
I combined the two. It's a 2nd gen GSX drivetrain swapped to a convertible Spyder. 2.0L and FP Big 16G Turbo kit. Tial BOV on Speed Density. Yes it's loud and you could feel the wind in-yo-face!
Tough question because they are completely different experiences. I will say that there is just nothing quite like owning and riding a motorcycle.
To whoever said "you come back a new man after each motorcycle ride" hit the nail on the head. Can't say it much better than that.
HAHAH, quality!
The previous owner of my car said it could probably walk my CBR.
I'm not sure that people really understand just how fast 600cc bikes are, let alone liter bikes.
Seriously, I very rarely race anyone when I'm out on the bike. It's not even worth the danger you're putting yourself in. I ride because I like to ride.
A 500+whp Evo is probably faster than a sport bike.

Seriously, nothing like driving your Evo home from a long day of work and immediately hopping on your motorcycle to go for a 2 hour ride...every single day...
If I don't ride I get down in the dumps. Because it's winter in NY and my riding has turned into 1, maybe 2 times a week if I'm lucky, I have become kind of depressed.

I prefer bikes as track toys. Too many variables on the street. As much as I love the sense of freedom that riding gives you... Sadly, the risk of gambling with a driver in a suburban on their cell phone isn't worth the thrill.
It's definitely something to always consider and your riding should reflect that, but it doesn't stop me from riding every day. It's not really something I think about when I get on the bike. It's also another reason I don't take the bike to work more than once, maybe twice a week because I try to avoid rush hour traffic and unless I'm running errands I do most of my riding on backcountry roads where it's nothing but you, your bike and the world around you. No better feeling in the world. Plus, you'll be surprised at how many people that live in the country are aware of motorcycles, simply because so many of them ride. I've had people wait at a stop sign for 30 seconds until I passed them. I give them a courtesy wave and keep on cruising.
