Looks super nice... I'm tempted to ditch my setup and go with this.... Where'd you get the panel?

How did you attach that thing so it's firmly in place.

Not sure if all of the panels are exactly the same but mine has only 2 holes for screws which press it against the AC controlls. Now that AC unit is already loose so the whole thing doesn't sit in place as firmly as the stock panel which has clips in the back to secure it to the center console.
bumping my question
Panel can be bought at Gruppe-S.

I am running into the same issue. I've considered clipping a few of the stock 'plugs' from the original panel and epoxying them to the fiberglass one, but I"m not sure if the epoxy would hold, or the fiberglass panel could take the stress (don't want it to crack if I have to remove it again).

Any ideas?

If you secure the climate controls to the dash first, the two screws will pull the panel up tight. You can secure the climate controls with just a couple wire ties. Unfortunately, there was no way to duplicate the clips on the fiberglass part but even without them the top of the panel wedges in under the vent panel and the bottom is held in by the screws. The panel will be very secure and will sit flush in the dash just like the factory part.

If you have any more questions regarding the installation feel free to email me at craigharde@hotmail.com I can send you some install pics if you need them.

Thanks,
Craig

Craig, Just a suggestion for the future buyers. Try at least making some extensions with holes at the top part so people can use them for wire ties. I will try to secure the climate controls but I still doubt it will prevent the top from popping up especially with how the roads are here around NYC.
I'll try and come up with something and post pics.

However panel is very nice, needs some more clearance for AC and recirc. buttons but that's not a problem and when you put it in it looks just like the stock part.

Just adjust how you tighten the screws.. dont tighten them till they are flush.. let it breathe a little and your problems will be solved
