New to the forum , would like to know opinions on best precision turbo ;minimal lag

Hey so first post on the forum never really been on alot of forums.

But heres what i got a 2003 evo 8 and i just did a rebuild , put new 9:1 Wesico Forged Pistons , with Manley Rods, New valves , got everything nice, clean, and new . Breaking her in.

dont know whats considered fully built , so

somewhat built engine
272 cams
1200cc injectors
Meth kit installed but never used by me
Full Greddy Exhaust No cats
3'' intercooler
with stock evo 8 turbo

it was previously tuned a year ago at English Racing , by my friend at stock with cams and injectors at 340whp

i loved how it ran but after the new English racing tranny i bent the valves somehow.

now shes all new rebult engine and tranny.

And im looking at what precision turbo to go with because i want more hp , looking at the 420-500whp range

of coarse there is no waste gate or dump gate or what ever . but that could all be changed .
Just would like to know the precision turbo i can get for reasonable range (1k ish) with minimal lag and that hp range.

would really appreciate the help from my fellow Evo owners!!

New Turbo , Precision Turbo , Turbo Upgrade , Best Turbo Fit, Want more HP , Turbo Upgrade , Evo 450whp

are you set on a t3? you can do a stock frame turbo and make that power with minimal loss in spool.

Too much lag there? You might want to stick with the factory turbo, 71hta, or an MHI FP Red.

And I guess I'll do my research on the other two

“T3”, “T4”, etc are the sizes of a turbo. They will not fit up with most of your stock intake/exhaust stuff. Those are what Precision sells and yes, they are a great company.
“Stock frame” means it’s a stock turbo that has been modified to make more power. They spool a lot better than T3/T4 and make the power you’re looking for. There are different sizes that make different amounts of whp. They are a really good option for those of us that live in Communist A.R.B. states or like a drop-in solution to more power.
You may wanna bump around this site for a while and Google some stuff to get an idea of what your options are before making such a big change.

I'd suggest Google. That's way too much info for me to post.
