:( No More Evo...

Well it was a bitter sweet day last week as I sold my Evo, here she is in all her glory.

In hindsight I don't feel too bad about it because I rarely drove the car and it would just sit outside for weeks and months on end while I paid full coverage and always worried about it being stolen and living at the beach the salt corroding everything.

Now she has a new home down in Miami with a fellow enthusiast who actually sold his X to purchase this car from me and I know she will be well taken car of.

Moving onto bigger and better things in 2016!

Beautiful car! Were you still using the 6 speed transmission? Mind sharing what you're getting into next?

No, at 400whp you pushing the limits of the 6spd and I swapped it out for a fully built ultimate ratio Shep trans to handle the 620whp I was making

I'm going to be out of the import scene for a while but have my eye on the new Supra. Currently I have a Range Rover Sport that I have been driving as my daily and I am going to be selling that as well and buying a new one in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks, yea I will miss it but it is with someone who will enjoy it much more than I was able to. I had a dream about it last night that the guy I sold it to sold it to a friend of mine and it was in my driveway the next day and he was trying to sell it back to me lol

Hm the supra...the fact that it's better is subjective but it's definitely bigger! hahahahaha

I never said that it is better than an Evo, its simply something different I have been looking at and I am eager to see what power plant they put into it finally

I have also been looking at turbo Porsches, GTR's, and a whole bunch of others. I tend to go through phases where I want something fast then I get into something more luxury like the Range and enjoy it and then change again.

I just think I out grew the Evo and something more along the lines of GTR or Porsche would be more fitting now but who knows everything changes with time

Awesome Evo man, glad to hear it's going to an enthusiast though.

How's the Range Rover been treating you as a Daily, usually you don't hear many good things regarding reliability from them.

I love the stance on the car.

What spacer did you have up front? Any fender work required on the front and rear?

Maybe but I would be more inclined to go with a GTR or Porsche

Yea I was glad to know it was someone with a X looking to go for a IX and is part of a group on FB that meets up frequently which is how he found me.

The Range is great, the older ones have all the issues, mine is a 2011 and they sorted out all the bugs by the time 2011 rolled around

Thanks! If I remember correctly there is a 10mm spacer up front only and I did wind up getting the fenders rolled a little bit as well.
