Can't get into 3rd, 4th, or R

searched all over couldnt find anything and this is a little bit of a specific event that is happening. i have a tre stage 3 trans and it only has 1500 miles. I was shifting into 3rd and i hit the wall between 1st and the 3rd gear spots. felt like it cracked or broke or something but for the following week it drove fine, then just recently now it wont shift into 3rd or 4th. it does sometimes but very rarely, and when it does go, its perfect. checked my linkage and its fine my next step is to drain and check the trans for any metall grinded up. I would greatly appreciate any help or ideas because i dont know what it could be... brand new trans engine forks syncros etc. havent grinded any gears at all just hit that wall the one time thats all

well, i had a similar issue before...when i shift into 3rd or 4th nothing happened its as if the car was in neutral...its an easy fix once you open the tranny but you have to pull it...it is the pin that holds the shift fork...they back out...i would like to think tre safety wired it...you can try to adjust the clutch to see if it lets you get into gear if so that was an easy fix...

That's not the problem though. The stick won't go into 3rd or 4th positions from nuetral. It's like there's something blocking it. For you I'm visioning you sliding the stick into position but nothing happening.? I'm draining it tomorrow. Are there upgraded roll pins or forks for 3rd/4th?

Called and emailed a few times. I haven't even heard of this problem before though. It's like the spot to go into 3rd/4th just isn't there. Reverse is different cause sometimes it works perfectly

I'm surprised you're so calm. Good luck with everything. I definitely check back with the company who worked on the transmission.

Well it was built by T.R.E. I finally had the trans ripped apart. Broke a few terth off my hub assembly from the hard shift when I smashed into the barrier between 1st and 3rd. I'm moving onto an AMS full built trans, if my rebuild costs exceed 1500.

An AMS vs TRE trans isn't going to fix you mis-shifting and blowing it up again. TRE builds one of the best gear Evo gear boxes. Can't fix driver error.

I said I was moving on settle down I didn't say it's going to solve all my problems. I only had the car for a week and it was my first manual. I made a mistake and now I'm paying for it but I now know how to use my wrist and how to fluently shift, better, atleast.
