Hello everyone. I wanted to get your opinions on a 2005 Evolution MR with 27k miles on it. It has been to AMS performance www.amsperformance.com in IL back in 2008 for mods and pulls around 400hp at the wheels. I just wanted to get honest opinions on what price I should be offering my buddy for this car. Any input you can provide is much appreciated.

Car has mostly all AMS parts. CAM, Head, Turbo, Injectors, Fuel Rail, Header, Exhaust, Blow-off, Tune. Tien coil-overs, front and rear stabilizers. Seats upgraded to all Ricaro leather seats. It has not seen a winter and very little rain.

Minimum 25K

 

considering AMS did all the work and was done properly. I would say 26k-30k. it looks super clean and that's kind of becoming a rarity. Add in the miles and it makes it even more rare even with the mods.

 

I agree with the start at: $25K, but I would be prepared for the: $25K-28K. How good of a friend is he? You think he'll cut you a break? Such low mileage, and great parts/vendor! It's hard to pass up this car! Would love to see more photos...

 

Yeh, so it's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it, so if you were selling it on the open market wouldn't you asK 30k and take an offer. Your issue is because he is your mate he might be thinking your going to do him a favor and sell it to him for 24k. If the guy has done favors for you maybe you owe him, don't know your circumstance, if it was me I'd advertise it on the market for 30k and see what the highest offer is then give him a chance to buy it.

 

I bought my 05 MR with 13k original miles for $28k, so be prepared to spend around that... but good find!
