Is $25,000 for a bone stock 2005 RS w/27k too much?

There is a guy trying to sell a WW 2005 EVO RS in stock form with 27,000 miles on it. The car is clean as can be, as well treated as possible... needs nothing. It is PRESTINE. He wants $25,000 dollars. I said it was WAY! Too steep and he said he has been in this industry long enough to know what it's worth.

Is this guy crazy?

I'd try and get it down to around 22-23k.

black book is what dealers go by and its valued at 16000 to 17500 under 21000 is a fair deal

Way too much. I bought my 2005 Evo in Sep. 2006 for $26k with 15.8k miles on it. It was in PERFECT condition, BETTER than showroom. I had reciepts and even an excel file for every tank of gas that had gone through the car and mileage. Also already had a Defi Boost gauge installed. Even the gas cap area was perfectly clean; I would've eaten off of it.

I'd say the car you're looking at is closer to being worth $22-23k.

I got my '04 RS with only 13k on the clock for $19k. Mines was also in excellent condition. So yea 25k is way too steep. 21,500 to 22k sounds right.

EVO price gauging at its finest. Not the worst I've seen though...There are some dealerships out there trying to sell used IXs for $33k +.

1 year ago I paid 25,000 for an 05 RR Evo 8 with 4,000 miles. SO HELL NO DONT BUY IT! For an RS that is a high price.
