new evo 8 advice
what type of evo engine is this I am not sure if its missing a spark plug cover or what, so evo 6 engine? 7 engine? it's in an evo 8 body or chassis

Missing spark plug cover. Definitely not an Evo 7 radiator so I doubt it's an Evo 7 motor. I'd be more worried about the fact that the car was resprayed than anything.

from what i can see from this pic they could have just swapped the valve cover from an earlier gen
everything else looks like the 8

All you have to do is look at the vin number on the block. Then Google it. That's what I did with my car. Lucky mine was swapped, but an 8 in an 8.
