Hey guys, so today I saw my anti-lock light on and took my wheels off and whatta ya know, my right front ABS wire must have caught something and sliced in half. I was going to solder it back together but I wanted to get the sensor out to make the soldering easier because the wires were short. Well I unscrewed the bolt holding the sensor on and of course it's rusted in and I snapped the head off and it's stuck inside the knuckle.

I already ordered a new sensor on eBay because they are like $350 new which is absurd. So I figured I'd give the $30 sensor a shot before I spend $350+.

Any advice on how to get it out?
-Drill it?
-Pry it from the other side?
-Take everything apart?

Any advice is appreciated.

I broke mine trying to change my wheel bearing, it was seized in there.. I think I wound up using a punch and a hammer to get it out.. and made sure to put some lube around the new one.

 

hey when you broke that sensor, did your anti-lock light and all three acd lights come on or just the anti-lock?

 

It was a couple years ago, I honestly don't remember which lights came on, sorry :/
