turbo timer

whats up, finally got an evo this week and was wondering what you guys thought about getting a turbo timer. im pretty sure most of you guys have one and if so do you know what the best one is? my cousin stopped by last night and we were talkin about it he says not to bother about getting one just stay in the car for the min or 2 after i park. what are your guys opinions on this. any downfalls to getting a turbo timer at this point? thanks.

I went with the apexi after looking over the whole car and determining the best place to mount it. They all pretty much do the same thing and most offer the same inaccurate bonus features that you'll never use. All things being equal the size and placement of the Apexi along with its price is what drove my decision.

I have the HKS TT Type 1. I think it's pretty useful and nice to have, especially when you don't have time or just don't feel like sitting and waiting to let it cool down. That being said, it is definitely not a necessity. If you get the HKS one, make sure to get the harness also. Here's a pic:

I mounted mine in the little cubby on the drivers side, near below the headlight adjuster switch.

I figured the less people would see, the less chance to have a reason to break in.

After owning my Evo for 2 days, a turbo timer was a must. I just dont like waiting on the car to let it cool down so I got me a greddy tt. It works awesome with a bunch of features.
