P0401 and P0069 Problems

I've been throwing P0401 and P0069 codes for the past month and have been unable to figure out what's causing them. I checked all the hoses for the EGR (for P0401) but they are all connected. I've searched several more times for loose hoses and haven't found any. If anybody has any suggestions please pass them on. THanks

Hello Sir,
It looks like the possible causes could be

- Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor harness open or shorted to ground
- Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor poor electrical connection
- Faulty Barometric Pressure (BARO) sensor
- Faulty Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

for p0069 that is.

as far as p0401

- a loose hose
-or the egr solenoid is wrong

Best of luck, I hope you find some solutions

Try testing your MAP sensor with a multimeter or swap it out with a known working one.

I swapped the OEM map back in and seems to have resolved it. Didn't want to believe the map sensor was bad since it's brand new.
