I have an 06 Evo 9 RS (red) - has minor incident on carfax - 113k miles
and
2011 EVO X GSR - clean - mods and 94kmiles

Im looking to trade in and get another low mile evo ix

the dealerships i been working with wanna give me no more than 16k on the red evo


One hand wants me to just get rid of the RS and get low queen, but the other loves the car and i know how rare it is

I dont really want my evo x anymore and would rather have final edition but right now i want to garage a low 2006 evo ix and use the other car as my daily

What should i do and what should i look to expect trade in and value?

Put some dollars back into the RS & re-ignite your enthusiasm

IX RS is a rare car. Keep it and put some money into it to clean it up (if it needs some TLC).

 

keep the RS and do it up, it looks clean under the hood, better the car you know then another you don't and more hidden costs to fix that.

 

Why trade for the same car?

You have one of the rarest evos, and the newest gen. whats the point in trading to getting another one to sit in a garage =/

if i were you. Id keep both... mod the rs for track and daily the x. Id do simple mods on the x for once in a while street races...

Or mod the hell out of both and get a Camry to daily lol

RS for the win. I love my 04 RS people still ask if it's an evo. I tell them yes and they ask if it's turboed. One time my wife was walking to my car next to a basketball court and heard a kid say that's just a lancer with a kit. I love it haaaa ha

 

Keep the 06 RS, it is more valuable than you think. The X can be traded in for something else to daily. Hell a beater corolla or honda?
