Just wondering how much of gas did you EVO guys put in to top the fuel tank. I know that Mitsubishi is saying that we have 15 or 16 galons but in real life I don't think we will ever put this much (I think this includes all the fuel lines, etc). Looking for the person who has drain his/her tank the most and was still able to drive to the gas station and got it filled.

To start mine was 13.521 galons

 

tank is 14.4 gallons i believe

 

i have put in 14.2 before

 

I haven't had the ***** to go over 12.4...but I don't top it off. My Dad told me that was bad, and he works for a fuel hauling company, so I trust him.

Something about leaving room for gaes to expand or something.

 

I ran out of gas about 1/2 mile from an exit on I-94. I was too lazy to walk and I had a bunch of calls to return so I called roadside assistance. They sent a guy who gave me 2 gallons and then I added another 12.50 at the gas station. Running out of gas on the highway was about the dumbest thing I've ever done as a driver.
