Securing Trunk Bins, Ideas?
I keep a large sealable Tupperware bin in my trunk with some emergency fluids in it. Problem is, anything large enough to carry some antifreeze, oil, and a couple other Mitsubishi specific fluids in case of emergency, is inevitably too large to be secure, especially while spirited driving. Everything ends up all over the trunk after one turn. What have you all done to secure whatever you carry around in your trunk that's too big for the storage net? Pictures would en awesome.
I was using a milk crate and I bungeed it to my rear strut tower brace. Got rid of the crate as we got these fold up carriers from work. Now I bungee that to the rear strut tower brace
I had to put a rear upright on my car the other day and to do that I had to pull part of the trunk liner. I was amazed to see how busted up the liner was on the back side. This is flimsy stuff. I spent more time putting patches on the back of the liner than I did working on the suspension. Usually my trunk is empty. This is just from carrying luggage on trips.
So, I was thinking maybe I should order a new liner. But as flimsy as it is, would it survive shipping?
