SpoolinUp COP Swap - Engine Won't Turn Over
SpoolinUp COP Swap - Engine Won't Turn Over
I just did a COP install and the engine won't turn over. It cranks but doesn't catch. Swapping back to OEM will get it to turn over immediately. Any ideas?
If you bought new the chances of more than one ignition coil being dead are next-to-nothing. The engine will run on three cylinders, and probably even manage to run on two

did you buy the new coil set or the used coil set? you can check the resistance in the coils with an ohmmeter. if the coils show open, they are bad. most likely, if you can swap the old ones with no problems, you have a wiring problem, or all the coils are bad. it's very rare to have 4 bad coils, but if you bought the used cop kit, you might have just got a bum set. I heard matt at spoolin up is very good about service, so I would contact him for some ideas. I also have the spoolin up kit, and it has been awesome. I bought the new coil kit.
