So I finally got my Evo VIII and I was trying to figure out what to do first like I want more power but I don't want to spend thousands of dollars yet. What can I do to get some decent power while keeping the cost low? BOV vs BPV what's better for stock boost? I really enjoy the sound of aftermarket BOV but I know that unless I have some decent boost its not good for my car right? Lastly I want a good set of tires and was thinking about getting some proxes RR good idea or bad?

I agree! lol. You never mentioned mileage on the car, I'd recommend making sure all the maintenance is up to par, especially 60K maintenance (timing belt, tensioner, water pump, etc). Simple mods you can do would be intake, boost controller, turbo back exhaust and tune. Should keep you happy for a while and not kill the clutch if you are still on the stocker.

Get some Dr Color Chip or touch up paint, and fix up all of those chips.

 

New wheels, replace busted intercooler. And all of the other things that are probably busted.... I hope that car was cheap..
