Looking for some help on which tires to get to run on the Evo
I am, a DD but also like goin to the track, so looking for a tire that will wrk for both, currently have Venture V2 but my 60 ft is not getting any better then a 1.9
Car is making about
400 on a Mustang dyno setup is a 2.3L FP BBB Black
Any information would be helpful Thanks

Are you willing to have a summer/winter set (since you are in MA) or are you going to get all-seasons?

As Joe suggested...the Nitto NT05's are great. Relatively inexpensive and some phenomenal feel...
I've used a few new sets of 255's on stock SE wheels for 4 years...had a blast.
But then again, in Socal it only rains or goes below 65 degrees about 5 days out of the year
Good luck!

Agree with above, Nitto NT-05 was a decent tire 5-7 years ago. I've learned the hard way with this tire as it was never competitive in autocross against the Starspec II, RS3, RE71R. One tire I had a lot of respect for is the Goodyear Eagle F1 240 treadwear tire. Also Falken has a well liked budget friendly 200 treadwear tire. Pilot Super Sports was also mentioned and great choice. You've got options, lots of good info on the web about these tires.
