EVO IX -Questions on making my car a bit....louder.

Hello
I currently have a (mostly stock) IX.
Originally my intention was to keep it as stock as possible. That thought didn't last long.
Currently, it is rocking the Fujitsubo RM01a exhaust. It sounds....quiet.
I need it louder.
So my question is this; can i just do a Downpipe / test pipe with that current exhaust, and call it a day?
Or would I be better doing that with, say, the Buschur Racing exhaust?
I need it louder. I "daily" it (work from home so not really)...but I need it to sound better. Right now when I 2 step it sounds like a B***ch...
Thoughts?
Thanks

I have a full tbe with a test pipe from AMS on mine and love it. Not sure if you can still get the whole thing as a kit or pieces though. It is loud when I want it to be but not to the point that people stare. I have received many compliments on the sound.

Turbo cars are inherently quiet (to some extent) due to the turbo

You need to eliminate the CAT & install a full 3" exhaust (DP, test pipe & axle back & muffler)
Take your pick among the quality suppliers (i.e. Invidia)

Go titanium if you want the richest sound

Mmmmm titanium....

Get a downpipe, test pipe, and an O2 eliminator with an external dump. You won't be complaining about lack of noise after that.

Definitely going to need a test pipe , make sure you don't have a silencer in the muffler like my Greddy did, and youll make some real noise at WOT with an o2 dump

I was actually leaning towards BR's Vband Turboback

I would just do a straight pipe/ DP, but my Fujitsubo has 2 resonated tapers...I would like to keep it all 3"

Do you find the Bushur Racing setup is TOO loud? Any sound clips from ANYONE above?
