Could someone provide instructions on how to post pictures with your threads? Please and thanks!

 

Old, but still useful:

 

I use Imgur to host my pictures. Once the picture is uploaded to Imgur you can click on it. It will then give you various links to be used on message boards or whatever. Simply copy that link into the text box and the picture will post up.

Hosting site links sometimes break for whatever reason and then when the thread has important pictures regarding the topic are lost forever. In my opinion pictures should be uploaded to the site. I've gone through multiple threads where the most important piece are the pictures but they are gone due to hosting sites or the person simply takes them down.
