Srs codes 22, 25 help!

Quick story: I bought the car used 6 years ago with every light on the dash lit. It was in an accident before I bought it so I knew I would have to replace sensors and what not.

I bought two new impact sensors, module still read as if they were missing. Replaced module, and passenger side showed it was missing. Swapped those around, passenger side again showed it was missing. Replaced the whole harness on passenger side because previous owner thought it would be cool to cut the wire. Still the same thing. So I bought yet another module from a guy on here, code is gone but now it's showing two new codes! Codes that were never there before, 22 and 25. I believe 22 is the clock spring because everything is plugged in correctly, but my horn still works? 25 is passenger side. Check to make sure the harness was plugged in, and found out the damn air bag was never bolted down! Wtf!

Bolted it down, didn't clear the code. Is my passenger airbag bad? Anyone have this much experience with the srs system? Why weren't these codes there before?... clearing these codes at a body shop won't help right? The codes should clear on their own if everything is working properly? Thanks in advance!

Have you had the passenger air bag recall done yet? If not, why dont you roll into the dealer & get them to R/R the air bag at no charge

I had no idea there was a recall for the passenger airbag! Let me check to see if my car is part of it, its a 2003. I did notice it was a takata airbag!

My car was not part of that recall sadly. Anyone else experience this? I'm trying not to spend anymore money than necessary.

I worked through the SRS 22 issue as well and it cleared up when I replaced the clockspring without needing to use the SRS code reader. The horn should still work as it's wired separate from the airbag.
