Having loud ticking noise on my evo 8 (help)

https://youtu.be/Lmol40iBDHc

here is a video I took , of the the current noise going on .

Some me general info on my Evo :
after full rebuild , forged internal about 3-4K miles in .
1200cc Inj.
Hks 284 cams
just swapped evo 9 turbo on it
fullt greddy exhaust

anyways hoping its a lifter Rick noise. , but from over videos I saw on lifter ticking this seems louder and it gets louder as I rev the engine .
I would be very surprised if the engine would need to be rebuilt as I just got it rebuilt and did the proper oil changes .

Only thing I could think of is mabye timing skipped since I should've probably gotten a tune after a while ago with the things I've done to it . Or exhaust leak through mani since I reused the metal mani gasket . But I don't think it would get that loud .

I would appreciate all your input . I will be taking it to the shop soon , I just don't want it sitting in the shop as they charge me for all the time it takes to figure out the problem in all the different processes it could take to figure it out

pull the timing cover and get a wrench on the crank. Make sure the timing marks all line up properly. Also what does the oil look like? Kinda sounds like rod knock.

kinda hard to tell by the vid, but sounds like rod knock unless you can be sure the sound is coming from elsewhere.

I use a stethoscope to pinpoint noises. Most auto parts stores sell ones with metal rods attached that you use to touch various parts of the engine. It will be very obvious where the sound is coming from, if you have any doubts now.

Does your oil have any visible metal pieces in it? Flakes, etc?

Drain the remaining oil, replace oil and install a new oil filter, start and see if the sound goes away.

Check drained oil for shavings.
